Trained in silversmithing, Pollyanna Beeley's passion for colour inspired her to explore the colouring of metal. This in turn led her to the industrial process of anodising and dyeing aluminium, which has captured her imagination ever since.

Using unusual colouring and patterning techniques, developed over many years, she transforms the raw aluminium into a luxurious, colourful and translucent material which is then incorporated into distinctive artworks for public, corporate or domestic spaces.

Pollyanna's artworks have gained increasing admiration and acclaim both nationally and internationally and were featured in the prestigious Carnegie Museum of Art's ‘Aluminium by Design' Exhibition which toured to Museums and major venues in the USA and Europe. Her work is held in the permanent collections of both The Science Museum and Natural History Museum in London.

Commissions can be found in private and public venues from the newly opened Bar 23 in central Sheffield to the eccentric Hotel Glymur in the wilds of Iceland.

A recent artwork commissioned to mark the opening of The Technology and Innovation Centre in Rotherham was unveiled by the Formula One racing legend Sir Jackie Stewart.
