Silver is my main material and I enjoy combining it with such materials as concrete, for example, to produce functional tableware. This may challenge people's preconceptions of the relative value of materials and the relationship with wealth and status. The fun of making unusual combinations is a further challenge to the user, both in perceptual terms and in tactile exploration.
