Stephen Bottomley divides his time between his jewellery studio (est.1990) and his role as senior lecturer and course leader for the renowned metalwork and jewellery programme at Sheffield Hallam University since 2004.
Trained at the Royal College of Art (1999-2001) he also studied at West Surrey College of Art and Design and the University of Brighton, with a key period working at Rhode Island School of Design, USA (1998-99).
Internationally exhibited, work is represented in the UK by the Crafts Council, the Scottish Gallery (Edinburgh), Lesley Craze (London)) and held by the British Museum and South East Arts Crafts Collections.
